About Me

Hello! My name is Bhav Jain. I am a student at American Heritage, graduating class of '27. I am passionate about Math, Materials Science, and Research, and want to make a positive impact on society. I am deeply fascinated by AI and its potential to move humanity forward, particularly in the realms of Neurotechnology and applied RLHF in Robotics. I am constantly striving to expand my knowledge in these areas. In addition to my academic pursuits, I play the saxophone and guitar, and I am actively involved in speech and debate.

Community Outreach

Non-Profit Organizations I am involved with.

ExcelAcademe

I am the Founder and CEO of ExcelAcademe, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, edtech organization. ExcelAcademe provides motivated students with the resources to excel in academic competitions. Our curriculum focuses on derivations, proofs, practice, and conceptual understanding, avoiding rote memorization. Our experienced high school volunteer teachers ensure deep comprehension and success.

We offer live performances in various facilities to aid patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional healing while nurturing hope and improving overall well-being. We do these performances at childrens hospitals, and old-age care homes.

Projects

Some things I've worked on myself!

Internship-XLSX-Analyzer

This app is an open-source tool to analyze spreadsheets full of information regarding internships, summer programs, opportunities, and extracurriculars. Many newsletters send out huge weekly spreadsheets full of information, and at times it becomes too much to even look at, not letting you take any advantage of the opportunities. This tool lets you input .xlsx files (the default download of a google sheet) and uses set parameters and AI to sort the internships into the ones that you qualify for and ones that fit you best. The parameters in this model can be updated directly in the app.js file, and architecture is set up to use whatever LLM API keys you wish.

Stress-Strain Grapher and Calculator.

This Next.js application allows users to plot stress-strain data and calculate material properties. It provides an interactive interface for inputting stress and strain values, visualizing the data on a chart, and computing key material characteristics such as tensile strength, Young's modulus, and yield strength. The app features a responsive design using Tailwind CSS and includes functionality to clear data.

Interactive Home-Layout Editor

This project is a 3D grid editor and simulator that allows users to create custom grids, place obstacles, and simulate a character moving within the grid environment. The editor provides tools to adjust grid size, wall height, block height, and character dimensions. Users can interact with the grid in 2D and visualize the simulation in 3D.
